There are two basic techniques used to replace color:
Color blending and color layering. When color blending,
simply draw several streaks of various colors (use colors
matching background, foreground and grain colors) then
lightly blend colors together to create a natural wood grain pattern.
When color layering, draw streaks of the background,
smear color lightly then topcoat with a clear aerosol.
Repeat this process with a foreground color and then a grain color,
each time duplicating the color and grain pattern.
Colors that appear opposite each other on the color wheel,
will neutralize each other and bring the resulting color to the
middle of the wheel, which is a neutral brown.
Note: Colors are approximate representations of actual colors using
modern process techniques Variations may occur.
