Product Description: Danish Oil is a polymerized wood finish which combines penetrating oils with urethane resins to produce a natural oil finish on unfinished wood. Danish Oil produces a natural looking oil finish fast and easy. Apply, let dwell to penetrate, and wipe off excess.
Advantages: 1. One application seals and finishes wood. 2. Never gums up in warm temperatures. 3. Will not print and is non-greasy. 4. Water spots, stains, burns and scratches are easily removed by buffing with 4/0 steel wool and Danish Oil. 5. Available in aerosol form for easy application.
Product Limitations: 1. DANISH OIL SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED OVER LACQUER OR OTHER FINISHED SURFACES. 2. Depending on air circulation and temperature, Danish Oil can take 48 to 72 hours to dry completely to be suitable for use. 3. Specifications: Danish Oil will give the best results on clean dry wood with a moisture content of 6- 8%.
Directions: 1. Danish Oil is ready for use, no reduction or thinning is required. 2. APPLY DANISH OIL TO NEW WOOD, PREVIOUSLY OILED OR STRIPPED WOOD. 3. Apply Danish Oil only after finish sanding and the wood is dust free and clean. 4. Apply Danish Oil to stained wood only after stain has dried a minimum of 24 hours. 5. Danish Oil should always be applie d to a “flood” or excess condition by brushing, ragging or spraying. 6. Surface should be kept “wet” for at least 30 minutes to insure penetration into wood pores. 7. After 30 minutes, wipe dry and buff surface. Allow 24 hours drying time for Danish Oil to oxidize and resin polymerization to occur. 8. If desired, a second coat may be applied for greater wood protection.
Safety Cautions: Contents are COMBUSTIBLE. Aerosol (M103-0650) is EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. During use and until all vapors are gone, keep area well ventilated. Avoid breathing vapor and spray mist. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands after using. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
