The working tools the bench keeps within reach — the brushes and finishing supplies that come out in the same workflow as the shellac.

Our varnisher's brushes are made in Italy: extra-long hog-hair bristles in a wide, flat shape that holds shellac and varnish and lays it down smooth and even, with a cupro-nickel ferrule built to last. Sold individually and as a set of three.

Alongside the brushes you'll find the abrasives and preparation materials that round out a finishing bench — including quebracho tannin for ebonizing oak the old-world way, through chemistry rather than dye.
